Alison’s Little Horrors.

Doll making has been something I have enjoyed since my teenage years.  I started off making soft textile babydolls, before moving onto Fimo jointed miniature dolls, then after my own babies had been born, I became a reborn baby doll artist.  After a four year stint at university (where doll making still featured) I am now rekindling my absolute love of dolls and doll making.   It is fair to say my art became a little darker while at university, but that doesn’t stop me loving cutesy-cutesy, so my current doll designs are a mix of the mildly macabre and the all-out cute.

“You know you’re in a relationship with a doll-maker when your other half tells you they are ‘cooking heads’ and you don’t bat an eyelid”
